Hi CHris....we are not really ignoring your question....just ignorant. Most of what we deal with here are the tuck and roll Kustoms of the early 70's.These are the Kustoms built when Bud Ross the founder was still part of the company. Don...aka Pleat may have the information as he was a Kustom dealer years ago. I have seen a couple of Kustoms with tubes....but I am not familiar with that era to know the model. BC

Hi Chris, I have been trying to find the model kustom amp you are talking about, and have come up empty. Kustom in 79-80 era did make a lead amp with both, two 6L6's 50 watt model, and 4 6L6 100 watt model. The amps I have seen are plain wooden box. there were 4 models in all, two heads and two self contained units with 212 speakers. The grilles were like a basket weave design. The self contained units had the power amp section in the base of the cabinet and the chassis was the pre amp section. These amps had a built in flanger. The new china made kustoms, I'm not sure what the model numbers would be for them. Are there any pictures ava. of the amp you are asking about? I would like to see what the amp looks like, that might be something that would help date the amp. Don aka pleat
