I have never seen a kustom guitar in Denmark, are they any good, as the big brands ?

I always liked them. I have a natural one. They are constructed like a Rickenbacker, where the interior is hollowed out before the front and back body panels are glued together. They have bolt-on necks and use DeArmond single coil pickups. Some models had Bigsby vibratos.

Some of the bodies were made of Ash and the grain was filled with a dark filler creating a very dark graining. They called these Zebrawood finishes.

They were only made for a few years, so they are fairly rare.

If you look at the literature section, one of the catalogs has a page devoted to them.

thanks for the comments.... both the foot stools, the license plate, and the greco on top of the pa were given to me by my inlaws in october when i went back to oklahoma. the certificates on the wall are stock certificates that my wife's grandmother had. and the greco has a repaired broken neck with a goya case however i think it adds to the story since it was purchased by an employee for 10 dollars.

and the new guitar is a k200a with the bigsby and the original hardshell case.
