| Model K100 Head and 2-12 Cabinet | Red | SOLD $750 | Very rare RED Kustom. Red and Gold are the two rarest colors as they were the least popular when new; in fact they were discontinied when the 150/250 series was issued in Late 1971. This amp is in nice condition. It has two small burn spots on the top of the head and a slit on one top pleat that has been closed with a clear tape. One small snag in the lower grillcloth and some other very small nicks or scratches no one of which is significant enough to mention. 2-12 Cab has been reloaded with Jensen C12Ns (from another model 100). Matchng head is a two channel-no effects head . |

RARE! Red Model 100 head. Reverb and Tremelo; Volume Bass and Treble controls; High and Low input jacks. Vinyl is excellent with no yellowing; one tear at the right side bib approximately 1.5" that has been closed with a clear tape. One small (pencil eraser mark on top - - see photo). Some hiss that does not increase with volume. Reverb requires servicing (hissing increases when reverb is increased). There are 5-6 bands about 1/4" to 1/2'' wide on crowns of the top pleats that are very lightly more gold/orange as if someone had left a red or orange music book on them and some color trnsferred (see photo). Head has had ywo Kustom handles added to the side to make it easire to transport (probably would have been a good idea for Kustom to have adopted). Grillcloth has no tears and all chrome is in very good shape. Vinyl is in excellent condition with no yellowing or stains. A very small imperfection exists on the top of the head see attached photo 7 (you can see how small it is in comparison to the pleats). There are a couple of nicks on the lower pleats on the left side near the bottom as shown in photos 5 & 6. Grill cloth looks great. Chrome hardware is excellent. Photos 6-9 show the head. Head sounds great but the bright switch on the left channel does not appear to function. The line-out jack on the rear has been converted from the RCA jack to a full 1/4 jack. There are a couple of nicks on the corner as seen in the photo. | Kustom K200A-1 & 2x15J Cab | Charcoal | SOLD | 2-15 Ross cab with Jensen C15's and matching K200A-1. The cab is in super condition and coloring excellent; there is a black 2" diamond plastic plate on the top of the back that is covering an added hole and could be tapped for a jack at the top of the cab. The head has good color and looks good except for some tears along the front and back of the underside material (see photos). The amp is in great shape except for the numerous tears along the bottom edge of the toe-kick (front & back) which have been covered with clear tape. The toe kick is easiest to replace as there is no pleats involved. As new material may differ from older material, some aging (using a solution of RIT dye) may be necessary. An alternative I used on another combo was to split (laterally) the good material in the center of the toe kick and use half on the front and half on the rear resulting in an uncovered space between the front and back in the middle of the bottom.
